Description
The Evil-Warding petition (驱邪符) is drawn against influence understood as actively hostile rather than merely draining. In the classical tradition it is a protective drawing, not a cure for illness, and we describe it as such.
Drawn in cinnabar on ritual paper and consecrated by hand, carrying the bearer's name and the matter it is drawn for.
