Qingya Talisman — Health & Vitality

Description

Hand-drawn in cinnabar ink on traditional yellow ritual paper, in the form of the Qingya Talisman (青牙符).

It is the eastern talisman of the Taishang Dongxuan Lingbao Wufu Xu (太上洞玄靈寶五符序) — the oldest surviving Taoist scripture devoted entirely to talismans, composed around 317 CE and preserved in the Zhengtong Daozang of 1445. It belongs to the Azure Emperor of the East (蒼帝靈威仰) — the direction of wood, of spring, of things beginning to grow.

Carries the verse of the original text: “Enduring life is the work of the nine breaths.”

Each talisman is drawn by hand, activated through ritual, folded and sealed, and shipped discreetly worldwide.
